Music Support is pleased to offer certain industry freelancers the opportunity to apply for a bursary to become a Mental Health First Aider for FREE thanks to funding from our partners Backup Tech, Stagehand and The Julia and Hans Rausing Trust.

We are working together to support the welfare of our peers and move closer towards a place where there is at least one MHFA trained individual on any tour or at any event.

To be eligible for the bursary you must be self-employed, working full time in a freelance capacity (ideally for a minimum of five years) as crew/production personnel (which could range from Rigging and Catering to Production Assistant and Tour Manager and everything in between) in a touring role (having worked on at least one tour) or as a music creator or representative (e.g. musician, composer, songwriter, lyricist or artist manager). You must also work in the UK music and live events industries.
