We are currently experiencing exceptionally high demand for our services, which means there may be delays in responding to enquiries and arranging counselling. We know reaching out for support can be a difficult step, and we’re sorry if you have to wait. We want to be transparent about current timeframes:
- Initial response: approximately 4–6 working days.
- Starting counselling: approximately 4–6 weeks after referral, depending on availability.
These are estimates and may vary. We’ll do our best to keep you informed and appreciate your patience while we work to support everyone who contacts us.

Addiction Support
If you’re struggling with addiction, it can be hard to know where to start, or what kind of support is right for you.
We offer different ways to help: Our weekly Recovery Support Groups provide a space for connection and shared experience with a group of people who are dealing with the same thing. Our Navigating Addiction sessions are practical workshops that help you to build tools that you can use to manage everyday challenges.
If you need to talk to someone, you can call our helpline on 0800 030 6789 or you can email helpline@musicsupport.org.
Whatever stage of recovery you’re at, these confidential weekly sessions focus on emotional support, shared understanding and practical tools to help you achieve and maintain abstinence.
