Why did you choose to raise funds for Music Support?

Ever since we first got to know about Music Support many years ago, we’ve been appreciative of the incredible work they consistently do for those grappling with mental health or addiction in our industry.

At our headquarters, we proudly display notices in the office, guiding our staff to their helpline. We get the unique challenges that come with working in Live Events, and it’s crucial for us to highlight that there’s support available beyond just our team.

We’re fully aligned with Music Support’s mission, which involves early intervention through not only individual support services but also educational workshops to aid families and businesses.

Opting to take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge to raise funds for this amazing charity is our way of backing the impactful work they’re doing. Moreover, it’s a way to shout out in our community that no one is navigating these challenges alone.

Tell us more about your fundraiser

For a while, our team had been eager to tackle a fundraising challenge that not only pushed their limits and strengthened team bonds but also contributed to supporting essential work benefiting individuals in our industry. This resulted in seven of our team members eagerly embracing the opportunity to complete the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge – a gruelling 39.2km hike winding through some of Yorkshire’s most picturesque peaks.

Despite battling heavy rain, the team triumphantly completed the entire route in 11 hours and 20 minutes. Amongst the many memorable moments (Including the pub at the end), the camaraderie and shared determination stood out as one of the biggest highlights, along with the unwavering support from the entire team, our clients, and the broader community.

How much did you raise?

We raised £2,290 + £368.75 in gift aid. Our Managing Director has since decided that this seemed to be a messy number and rounded it up with an additional donation to make the amount raised £3,000.
