Have you called our Helpline? Did it have a positive impact on your life? If so, we’d love to hear from you…

Thursday 23rd February is Helpline Awareness Day. We’re really keen to hear from anyone who would be willing to share their story of making a call to Music Support’s Helpline and how it changed their life. This is to help us reach out to even more of our music and live events’ peers to ensure they know Music Support is here for them.

If this is you, we would be grateful if you would be willing to participate in any of the following:

  • Provide a short testimonial about your experience (which can be anonymous if you would prefer). Please see examples here
  • Provide a slightly longer blog to tell your story (which can be anonymous if you would prefer). Please see example of a mother’s story here
  • Record a short audio testimonial and provide up to 5 x images so we can create an audio reel of your story
  • Record a short video interview with us to tell us about your experience. See example of Cam’s story here

With any of the above you should be willing for your story to be shared on Music Support’s website and/or social media channels.

If you have any questions and/or would like to get involved in this special initiative to help raise awareness of Music Support please email us at info@musicsupport.org

Thank you.

You are not alone.

We are always here for our peers who work in music and live events. If you are facing mental health or addiction challenges or are worried about a colleague or loved one, please don’t suffer in silence. You can call our confidential Helpline on 0800 030 6789, Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm to speak to a trained professional with lived experience of the highs and lows of working in the industry. We offer everything from a listening ear to referrals to expert clinicians and care providers for mental health or addiction assessments, therapy and rehab.
