A space to talk, be heard and make sense of things
Sometimes, having someone who will just listen without judgement can make all the difference. Sometimes, just gettings things off your chest helps. Our counselling services provide a safe, confidential space to explore what’s happening in your life, understand what you’re feeling and begin to find ways forward.
We offer different types of counselling and therapeutic support, depending on your needs which we’ll discuss with you. All our counselling sessions are free of charge so you don’t need to worry about the financial burden on top of everything else.
Who will you be speaking to?
Volunteer Counselling
Our network of volunteer counsellors allows us to provide support to more people who need it. They bring direct experience of working in the music industry or have undertaken specialist training in supporting people who work within it. All are registered with BACP and/or UKCP, and understand the unique pressures that can come with working in music.
Internal Counselling
Our in-house team of fully qualified, BACP-registered therapists bring both professional expertise and backgrounds in music. This means they understand the realities of the industry and can offer support that feels informed, relevant and genuinely human.
Internal counselling is typically offered between 8-12 sessions.
Support Sessions & Brief Interventions
If you’re looking for more focused support, we also offer weekly 30-minute online one-to-one sessions with a BACP qualified counsellor. These sessions are usually offered over 6–12 weeks and can provide a regular space to talk things through, work through a particular challenge or explore what support might be right for you.
You don’t need to wait until things feel overwhelming to ask for help. Whether you’re struggling with your mental health, navigating a difficult period or simply feel that something needs to change, we’re here to support you.
