Mark's Story

Mark Richardson

Hailing from Whitby, North Yorkshire, Mark is a self-taught musician and has played drums for Little Angels, Feeder and Skunk Anansie with whom he still writes, records and tours. He considers his key milestones to date playing with Pavarotti for the Dali Lama, for Nelson Mandela’s 80th birthday celebration concerts.

Mark has been sober since 2003 but the 3 years it took him to get sober was the catalyst to helping others avoid the same barriers to recovery and metal health support as he did, eventually resulting in Music Support. Mark became a recognised ICF coach in 2017 focusing on addiction recovery.
